5 REASONS TO KEEP CREATING, EVEN IF NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE

  1. AAAAAAH – I needed this post. My blog has had such low levels of interaction for the first time since last year and it was really making me sad and wonder if I should even continue doing it. I know I’ve been very irregular on here and so the interactions have reduced but it still is so discouraging. But this post really does speak to me. It is not HOW many but the quality of the interactions that matters. And blogging has really helped me deal with so many things – it has been my safe space to vent about things that I don’t even talk to with people around me (wow I sound like a loner). I find it hard to often share how I feel with people around me because I hate being vulnerable – but it feels okay to be vulnerable online with a bunch of online random people – is that weird?
I guess sometimes we get so fixated on visibility and maybe popularity that we ignore the smaller side benefits of creativity and art. 🙂
But creativity can be so healing. Tamara’s blog on this was so good too. Sharing it here if you want to check it out. https://tamarakulish.com/2021/10/26/healing-art-does-it-exist-2/

    1. Yes it’s true, it’s not as glamorous, creating for ourselves rather than receiving all of these external rewards. I know I’m also like wah wah. But omg I don’t want to imagine a world without Moksha’s blog! So, there you go 🙂 And thanks I’m def going to read Tamara’s article! 🌺💖🌺💖🌺

  2. I am a writer at heart. I’ve always been able to express myself best through writing. You hit the nail on the head for me when you said keep creating, even if no one cares. That’s one of the concepts I had to grasp in order to break down that first wall of writers block! “What if no one cares!?” But I realized it doesn’t matter, as long as it’s impacting me in a positive way to express myself and even if it just touches one person, it’s more than I ever thought I would! And so, I’m always so grateful for any type of support from the blogging community!

Great post, Libby.. Also, I’ve always admired your drive to tell it like it is but also, empower women at the same time!! Keep moving! ❤️🙏

    1. Thank you, I so, so, so appreciate your support! And you and literally two other bloggers are my absolute favorite blogs / bloggers on here that make me so happy. So yeah, that counts for a lot! I’m so glad you learned that early, it’s so hard. I def wrote this as a reminder to myself, u know? 🤣💖😘🙏

  3. “KEEP CREATING, BECAUSE IT HEALS YOU”
Yes, yes, yes! Great post, Libby! (Though I DO care about you and your creations, even when I disappear inside myself for a bit.)
I don’t look at my stats, and don’t do what we’re supposed to do to “grow” them or “monetize” my blog. Writing really is healing and helps me grow, so I love that. Thank you, Libby, for sharing your goddess light with us.You are so talented! ❤💫
