BOYCOTTING VIOLENCE IN THE MEDIA AND AGGRESSION TOWARDS WOMEN

I don’t really want to write this post, because I get upset thinking about it. But it’s boiling for me right now, so I must. And after watching S4:E1 of Yellowstone last night, I decided that I will be boycotting violence in the media and aggression towards women. I’m not going to attach a link to the this show, because you can search for it if you’re curious. And I am not going to include any imagery of violence in the media. Because by doing so, I would go against the points I will be making, for boycotting violence in the first place. I would like to keep this short, and get this over with quickly. So, pardon the brevity. And here we go! Continue reading BOYCOTTING VIOLENCE IN THE MEDIA AND AGGRESSION TOWARDS WOMEN

SPEND REGULAR TIME WITH MAMA NATURE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS

I was feeling kind of glum the other day. And as per usual, I stepped outside to spend some time with Mama Nature via my nearby nature trail. As I was walking, I just noticed that even though I was in kind of a blah mood, Mama Nature was just there for me. I felt her gentle vibes just kind of cradling me in kindness. And in that moment, I felt so supported, and so super grateful to have this beautiful relationship with her. I know not everyone can access nature on a regular basis. But I’m telling you, if you are able, spend regular time with Mama Nature and see what happens. Your life will become that much more magical, I promise! 5 REASONS TO KEEP CREATING, EVEN IF NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE

was taking my daily nature walk the other day, feeling hopeless about my contribution to the world. Thinking about all of my creative projects, I was getting caught up, focusing on all of the people who DON’T pay attention to me. And then Mama Nature, as she often does, gently graced me with her clarity and nurturing love in my moment of sadness. And the idea that both you and I should keep creating, even if no one seems to care, became so apparent. Creative expression is such a powerful, human tool. We can all access it, and we can all benefit from it. And just because you THINK no one seems to care, is no reason to stop. The flow must continue, regardless of external validations, or lack thereof. And here are five reasons why. Continue reading 5 REASONS TO KEEP CREATING, EVEN IF NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE

ARE YOU TAKING OWNERSHIP OF YOUR LIFE, OR IS IT THE OTHER WAY AROUND?

This podcast episode was inspired by The Goddesses. I mean, what else is new? They’re endlessly inspiring! And from the card I pulled below, I was inspired to pose this question to you: Are you taking ownership of your life, or is it the other way around? And I love this question. Because for so many years, I didn’t even realize I had a choice. I didn’t even know this was a thing I could do! And then I started learning ways to gradually (and sometimes not so gradually) take massive ownership of my life. And once I did this, I got REAL HAPPY, real fast. I want this for you as well. So, please listen and enjoy! Continue reading ARE YOU TAKING OWNERSHIP OF YOUR LIFE, OR IS IT THE OTHER WAY AROUND?

ARE YOU KEEPING YOUR DEEPEST DESIRE HIDDEN FROM THE WORLD?

I have something I want to share with you. And typically, I have no problem sharing any and all manner of things with you. Because if I admit it to myself, then I must enter into that painful cycle of longing and wondering, hoping and waiting. So, in order for me to not feel so alone, will you join me? If I share this deepest desire with you, will you share yours with me? Or, are you more comfortable keeping your deepest desire hidden from the world? Continue reading ARE YOU KEEPING YOUR DEEPEST DESIRE HIDDEN FROM THE WORLD?
