PINTEREST IS A TERRIFIC BLOG MARKETING TOOL

I’m writing this blog post, not necessarily because I’m a blogging expert. But more because I have many blogging friends who have WAY more followers than I do. And yet they don’t use Pinterest as a blog marketing tool. And for my blogger friends who have a larger following, I know many of them would like to not only keep, but continue to grow their following. So, I thought I would share my experience with using Pinterest thus far, in the hopes that it inspires my fellow bloggers. It’s also one of the more fun blog marketing tools out there, so why not?! WELCOME TO THE GRAVEYARD OF UNWRITTEN BLOG POSTS

The idea for this blog post is 100% inspired by my newest and dearest blogging friend K E Garland. Her original post, “8 Titles Of Blogs I’m Not Going To Write,” inspired me with its pep, variation, and substance. And also, as a blogger, I can relate to creating an amazing title for a blog post and then losing the inspiration to write about it. Unwritten blog posts are just part of the creative blogging process and no big deal. And so, I love how Kathy captured this, and I kinda just love her in general! She also recently guest posted for me, and wow, this article got SO much love. She’s thoughtful, badass, honest, brilliant, and goddess-esque to her core. So, of course I love her! THE DAZZLING BLOGGER AWARD GOES TO ME!

I’m not going to lie. I wouldn’t say that humility is one of my strong traits. However, I do think there is a huge difference between having confidence in yourself, and being obnoxious and conceited. And I don’t believe I ever venture into the obnoxious realm of self-confidence. I like to celebrate when things go well for me, and I think that’s a good thing. To me, it’s much more honest to say, “Yes, I kick ass, thank you!” Rather than saying, “Oh no, please, not me, no thank you.” When really, everyone wants recognition and love. So, without any humility or apologies, I’m happy to share that The Dazzling Blogger Award goes to me! Continue reading THE DAZZLING BLOGGER AWARD GOES TO ME!

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE A CREATIVE BLOCK

You’re not gonna like this answer, I guarantee it. And I might be wrong. But, speaking as a person who has been creating since I could hold stuff with my dainty digits, I think my opinion is worth considering. It has taken me many years to accept this fact, and even now, as I feel my creative juices drying up for the first time in weeks, I still resist this truth. But trust me, when you have a creative block, the best thing to do is nothing. Continue reading WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE A CREATIVE BLOCK

HOW BLOGGING CHANGED MY LIFE

My life changed when I started my blog and the story is really rather inspirational. I never really put the pieces together when I first began blogging, but sometimes you need distance from something in order to see the magic of it. I have been blogging for almost four years now, and I love it more than I ever thought I would. Continue reading HOW BLOGGING CHANGED MY LIFE
