But I can be really fickle about my YouTube tastes and didn’t want to create a whole article about my faves, only to find that they have changed within a month. THE BENEFITS OF ENTERING INTO THE SILENCE ZONE

I have been on such an emotional trip lately. And during one of my dark days, my partner and I were driving somewhere, with me in the passenger seat. I was feeling so anxious, and for a moment, I just closed my eyes. Breathing silently, I began focusing on the blackness behind my eyelids. And after only a few seconds, I started to feel instant relief for the first time in days and days. I go in and out of my meditation practice (I am currently so out right now). But in this moment, it was impossible to ignore the benefits of silence. What’s crazy is how easily I forget, and how long I let myself go without stepping into silence. ADULTING IS HARD AND I’M STRUGGLING WITH IT RIGHT NOW

I don’t know if it’s because Mercury is in Retrograde, or what. This planet retrogrades from May 29th to June 22nd 2021, and with this galactic chaos comes implicit problems with communication and technology, among other things. I openly admit that I do not do well when things are out of my control. And a lot of adulting often consists of dealing with shit that I don’t have much control over. I can typically handle this kind of thing in small doses. But as this retrograde unfolds, and more and more shit becomes uncontrollable, I’m finding that adulting is hard, and I’m super struggling with it right now. WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE A CREATIVE BLOCK

You’re not gonna like this answer, I guarantee it. And I might be wrong. But, speaking as a person who has been creating since I could hold stuff with my dainty digits, I think my opinion is worth considering. It has taken me many years to accept this fact, and even now, as I feel my creative juices drying up for the first time in weeks, I still resist this truth. I am definitely a sugar addict and I struggle with my sugar intake on a daily basis. However, I do think different people struggle with varying levels of cravings, and I consider myself lucky, because when I finally decide to wean myself off of sugar (I go in cycles and never really, truly give it up all together, but instead drastically reduce my intake), I really do make a commitment. CULTIVATING OUR GODDESS QUALITIES IN 2021

This entire blog, and for the most part, my entire existence, is all about how to cultivate my goddess qualities, strive for more goddess-esque actions and thoughts, and ultimately to become more goddess than woman. At the very least, I would love to strike a 50/50 balance (the name The Goddess Attainable succinctly encapsulates this exact idea). It’s a lofty goal, I know, but it’s what feels right for me. DETOX SHOWER

I had a taxing day several days ago and felt quite exhausted by the end of it. Situations resolved and all was well, but I felt very drained and kind of negative. Often when I feel this way in the evenings, I take a detox shower. This is different than taking a shower to wash my hair and bathe. I actually make it a point not to wash my hair during a detox shower (washing my hair is sort of a pain, and this particular kind of shower is for pleasure, not for pain).
