Hello, my name is Libby Saylor, and I am The Goddess Attainable.
What exactly does that mean, you ask?
In 2017, I had already spent years and years of being single and unsuccessfully searching for love. Then one night, I got in my car after a bad date and decided I had had enough. I was tired of putting my search for love (and putting men in general) before myself. And for the first time in my life, I felt empowered and free! Several months later, I started this blog. It was an effort to define, embrace, and celebrate the true me, regardless of whether or not I had a man in my life. This shift in perspective, and the creation of this blog, truly turned my life around. In a way, it also marked the beginning of my journey of dreams (I’m still on it)!
Read more about this journey of dreams in my article, HOW BLOGGING CHANGED MY LIFE.
The Goddess Attainable Blog is an act of pure and devoted self-love. It is my way of showing the world who I really am, unapologetically, with pride, with humor, and lots of care.
I invite you into my world of goddess living and hope you find this blog to be an inspirational portal for a goddess way of life. No need to be intimidated by this concept of “goddess” since it’s whatever you want to make it. For me, goddess-hood looks like a life filled with loving people, healthy lifestyle choices, and deep self-reflection. It embodies a desire for growth and expansion, the ability to experience joy and not take myself too seriously, self-confidence, acceptance, and honest expression, just to name a few (there’s so much more).
I am a practicing artist and amateur blogger. Attending The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, I received my BFA in Photography in 2002. I also have a day job that I truly adore. I am from Reading, PA and I live, work, and create in the Philadelphia area.
