1. What a lovely post! It is so wonderful to hear that you are so close and familiar with your spirit guides. To read your descriptions of them was awe-inspiring and actually eye-opening. I somehow always encounter my spirit guides and beings made of light, but reading your descriptions made me realise that despite their light-like appearance and our fluid interactions, I could very easily think of their characteristics and voices in personified ways. I think I’ll start writing it all down now too.

    Thank you for sharing!

    1. Oh thank you so much for sharing this! And I’m so glad this inspired you in a way 💖🌺 Yes, personifying them is sure to bring them to life a bit more, and I’m so excited to hear how that goes for you, yay!

  2. I am fascinated by all of this, GA! I have had eerie experiences with a psychic when I did not believe in it at all. Also some past-life work that I initially poo-pooed. And my own son’s amazing experiences as a child communicating with dead loved ones.
What is freaking me out, though, is your description of Kiki is exactly the woman I imagined in my mind while trying to meditate listening to the Insight Timer app I mentioned earlier. I actually drafted a funny blog post about this, it was so crazy. Hmmm…

    1. Whoaaaaaa 🤯🤯🤯 You’re blowing my mind right now, that’s crazy! I wonder if Kiki is your guide too? Maybe we’re sharing her? What do you think? Sorry if any of this scares you. It’s all safe and nothing will hurt you. Everyone’s only here to help 💖 So fascinating tho!!!

      1. Oh goodness, this doesn’t scare me at all! I am fascinated and curious about all things “mystical.” (I think that’s in the Goddess Rules Handbook?? Lol!) I’ll email you later the pic I chose for the draft of my blog post. “My Kiki” is actually a bit younger — 30s maybe. Love your post!💜

      2. Ohhh ok yay! I’ve encountered people not open to it so I wasn’t sure. Yay!!! I can’t wait for your email and would love to hear more about you and your son’s experiences!! 👻 🧚🏻‍♀️ 🦄 And I can’t wait to see your Kiki!

  3. Oops…I wasn’t done!

Five or six years ago, after reading “Sacred Plant Magic” I dabbled with spirit guides. It was such a foreign concept to me then. I didn’t really need guidance at the time, but did several visualization exercises anyway to conjure them up and I journaled their descriptions as they showed up. I invited them to meet me and each other at a round table in a cottage tucked away in the woods. After we met, and I logged their attendance, I promptly forgot about them and we never assembled again! The only one I remember clearly is the mysterious one cloaked in the black hood and robe that I dubbed “Death/Mystery” I recall thinking, “uhm…yikes, who invited you?” That’s probably why I didn’t stick with it. Who wants to have committee meetings about their life’s decisions with Death lurking at the table? On second thought, Death’s is probably a good perspective to have when making life decisions. Anyway, it was a little freaky sitting so close to such mystery.

I am going to have to dig for those journal entries to see who else came to the table. I am so glad you wrote this!

    1. Thank you so much for sharing, I love this! And I’ll have to look into that book. It sounds familiar and I might already have it started, now sitting on a shelf somewhere. But wow, your guides! And yeah, I wonder if the “death” guide wasn’t as scary as it seemed. Maybe it’s there to help you with the grieving process, or even to help you communicate with passed loved ones. I can’t wait to hear more about this! Feel free to email me whenever if u ever want to share more 💖😘🌸

  4. I love that you took the time to guide us through your thoughts and process about something you’re passionate about! You’re right, not everyone may be on the same page (this is certainly uncharted territory for me) but I love your attitude of people taking what they want/can from it and leaving with hopefully more understanding! 🙂 We should all be this open to things we know very little about! 🙂
